This is a small but mighty shredder.
So much better than the one I had before. It holds more than you would think. It shreds the paper into tiny pieces so it can hold more paper. It can handle 6 sheets of paper with ease, no bogging down. I would reccomend this for anyone needing a home shedder.

Pros:
EasyTo Use (and fairly forgiving) – As I was feeding sheets of paper into the machine, I was moving fast and a couple of times, I goofed up and got the paper in wrong, to where it crumpled. I thought for sure it’d wind up jamming, but nope! It gnawed through those sheets like they were… um… paper? Ha! I filled the basket 3 times in one sitting and it never once jammed!
Strong Motor – It touts up to 6 pages at a time, and it’s not lying! I accidentally added 8 sheets at one point and it did struggle a bit, but it still managed to pull through. Whew!
Detailed instruction manual – Very straight-forward and easy to understand
SHARP cutting device – This adds to its ability to gnaw through paper like it’s nothing (but BE CAREFUL! You do NOT want to get hair, clothing, or goodness forbid small fingers into this machine. KEEP wee ones and pets away from this machine! Keep switch in Off position when not in use, and if you have kids/pets, keep it unplugged and out of reach when not attended.)
Fast – It was difficult to keep up with this shredder, even while I was at full-speed with a stack of prepared (ensured no staples, etc) paper at the ready, except when I overfed it that once (OOPS!), it really flew through it!
3-Position Switch – Off and On, of course, where On has the machine run continuously, but it’s also got Auto, which will let it rest after a few seconds of not being fed paper and will kick in again once paper’s slid into the slot. Very nifty feature!
Well-Priced – I put off buying a shredder for far too long, due to the price of most cross-cut shredders. When I saw this one going for $29.99, I jumped on it, and I don’t regret it one bit!
Bonus Eco-Friendly (if ya’ do it right): Each spring I dig up a section of my garden to fill with veggie scraps from the kitchen and other appropriate things for composting. While preparing my paper for shredding, I ensured I separated out anything glossy or full print (LOTS of ink), and shredded the rest (mostly bills and such). Once done, I tossed all of the shredded bills, etc into the compost spot, then wetted it down and added kitchen scraps and such (to keep the paper from blowing away). Worms LOVE this kind of thing, so, if done properly, this shredder adds eco-friendliness to one’s world!
Cons:
Small Basket – The basket is fairly small (about the size of the average bathroom trash can) and fills up quickly. It IS somewhat forgiving about the fill line, but one needs to keep a close eye on it, especially at first while getting used to how fast it fills up. If you’ve got a lot of shredding to do, you’ll want to keep another container handy to empty the basket into now and then, so it’s not a big deal to empty it out.
Conflicting Instructions – One part of the manual says a special kind of oil needs to be used on it once in a while. Another part says cooking oil can be used. Thus I’m left unsure.

Fantastic shredder- simple, effective and reliable
I absolutely love this paper shredder! It’s incredibly easy to use with very simple, straightforward steps—just plug it in, insert your paper, and it gets the job done quickly. Works great and shreds are smaller.
So far, it’s working great. I like that it cuts paper into smaller pieces crinkles them a bit which makes me feel like my records are a bit more secure. Love the window which allows me to empty the remnants before shredder is full and paper gets stuck!

I love this shredder. It’s small but very powerful. When it’s full the shredded paper fits nicely into a small plastic bag so it’s easier to lift and empty.

Exactly the size and quality I was looking for. I don’t have a lot of paper to shred so it was so nice to receive a smaller shredder that doesn’t take up too much space. Works great!

Works but slot for paper is narrow.
My old shredder stopped working so decided to try this Bonsaii one. Should have searched more but this one is made in China. In general the shredder is very small and meant for low volume usage. My biggest problem with this shredder is that the slot to put the paper in is barely larger than 8.5”. So you have to be pretty precise inserting the paper. They should make the slot 1/2 inch larger for ease of use.
The bin is rather small also but I don’t shred much so not a huge issue.

Overheats quickly
Shredded fine for first couple days, then paper got stuck easily and over heats quickly, only able to use in short spurts now. Does not do well with more than 1-2 pages at a time. Slows down significantly with more than 1 page.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service with this company. My paper shredder arrived with two broken clips holding the transparent window to the basket so when shredding papers some of the small shreds fall through the space between the window and the basket. On contacting bonsaii, they were requesting a video of the “shredder malfunction “ with a close up to show how “the blades working in REV mode and also show how the light indicators work at the time”. I again clearly said the machine is working perfectly and the problem was with the broken clips.
I never heard from them again. I would not recommend buying from bonsaii again.
