Excellent Paper Shredder
Excellent Paper Shredder! As soon as I received this item I put it through an extensive workout shredding multiple boxes of old paper work. The Bonsen Paper Shredder handled it with no problems and it never over heated from extensive use. I would definitely recommend purchasing this item.

Great cross-cut shredder at great price
I highly recommend! This is a great cross-cut shredder and it’s a great price. My previous one was a linear cut and did not effectively shred confidential papers.

Good value for the money.
We use the shredder for household shredding. We like its size and function bar. It seems to do a good job on materials as advertised. The handle lifts the top shredder component off the paper container; we wish there was the option for the handle to lift the entire shredder.

I really like this shredder
I really like this shredder. The handle on the head unit is nice. It makes it way easier to remove and empty it. Has no problem shredding credit cards. I ended up using it for over 8 hours in 2 days. And never had a problem with it. If you are looking for an affordable small shredder. This is it.

Slit is barely wide enough. Underpowered and slow.
Underpowered and the paper slit is barely wide enough for one sheet. It slows markedly with each additional sheet of thickness to shred. This does not compare well with my previous 8-sheet cross cut shredder–it had a wider slit and was much faster overall. This takes about twice as long to shred a stack of paper.

Poor Quality Shredder
Have only used it a two times and it is already bogging down and not properly shredding given documents. Making a grinding noise and then stops. Have to back track and try again. Also, supposed to take up to eight sheets of paper but yet anything past two causes issues with the process of shredding.

If you shred just a few sheets, it overheats and you have to wait a long time, and if you put in several sheets, the paper gets stuck — there’s always a reason why cheap ones are cheap.

The shredder worked great, then it stopped. Couldn’t get it started again, nothing was jammed. I thought it was a good deal for a home office, but it turned out to be an expensive one time shred.
