Volcanic Oil 2 fl oz (59 ml) Turpentine oil. Pain relieving liniment. The Dr. J.H. McLean Company was founded several decades ago by Stanley H. Roberts and his brother Alfred. A decade ago, Mr. Robert’s daughter Robin, joined the company. Stanley and Alfred, being the brilliant business men that they were, had the foresight to keep the old medicine remedies available, hence, keeping these products available to the public since the early eighteen hundreds. In the late 1970’s, Alfred Roberts passed away; however his brother Stanley, continued to purchase the old medicine remedies. Excellent application for minor muscular aches and pains, stiffness and soreness of muscles due to overexertion, exposure or fatigue, mosquito bites and non-venomous insect bites, stiff neck and simple neuralgia. It is also a useful and convenient home Liniment for livestock.Do not use on wounds; on damaged skin; on irritated or reddened skin. When using this product avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; do not bandage tightly. Stop use and ask doctor if condition worsens; condition does not improve in 7 days; condition clears up and occurs again within a few days. Keep out of reach of children. This is an old time remedy for aching muscles that can also be used for pets. Use it sparingly because the smell is powerful. It is also getting very hard to find.

This didn’t get hot like the rest I’ve tried. I could feel a slight tingling and I could feel my legs starting to calm down with the pain. Worked for me.

Not for me
I was so looking forward to being pain free but it didn’t work for me. Perhaps it will work for others. Everybody’s metabolism is different. Mine is cantankerous. 🙁
