works just as good as any name brand out there. Only thing I wish they did with the packaging is put the word “sterile” in larger letters. I assumed they were sterile, but it took me a while to locate that information on the box/packaging wasting my time a bit. I was ready to not purchase them because I thought they were not sterile. Other than that, it’s your typical sterile pad.

Equate 2X2 Sterile Gauze Pads – 25 Count
Absorbant, soft, 2″ x 2″, square, gauze pads. Four layers or unfolds to a single layer 4″ x 4″ square. Individually wrapped and sterile until opened. Bargain compared to major brands and works just as well. Overall quality is 5 stars

Great product
Using these to cover a dime-sized wound from foot surgery. I unfold them at the crease and then fold them into thirds. They provide great coverage and wound protection. They are a little thinner than an equivalent name brand, but I think they will work better when I need less protection as the wound heals more. I would buy them again if needed.

Initially liooked like a thin pad but a closer look is a folded 2 layer thicker gauze that allowed me to divide (cut a slit) the lower fold (around tube at wound site) and better for the purpose of the purchased item.!

As good as the name brand
Okay, so, gauze pads. Not exactly glamorous, but essential. These Equate ones? They do the job. They’re soft, absorbent, and they’re a great price. Perfect for boo-boos, scrapes, and all the other minor medical emergencies that come with having kids. Five stars for being effective and inexpensive. Because let’s face it, I’m going to need a lot of these.

I went and bought another box of them today. I had Mosz surgery on my leg and they are they perfect size and absorbency for that.

It worked as exoected but the plastic on the back caused them to bunch up and actually get stuck in the wound. Next time I will be buying gauze pads instead.

Make sure this is the right product for your needs
Make sure you check if you need a nonstick type of guys! Placed this guys on a burn, and every time there is any type of discharge it sticks to the wound, and disturbs it every time I have to remove it to change the pad. Looking for the right product!

I’m very mixed on how to write a review on these and rate them. these are quite thick for the price and I actually can open it and still have a proper thickness sometimes. they do however stick to a wound that oozes. that’s what I don’t like about them
