I love this brand of coloring pencils soooo much ! They blend out supper smoothly and and write beautifully just know you should buy another black color pencil just invade if you use it all of it 😭. They can hold up with a lot of pressure and the color they say is true to the actual color itself.

Absolutely in love with Prism Color
I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but Prism Color blew me away. The pigmentation is gorgeous, super vibrant, and it lasts all day without fading. What I love most is how smooth and blendable it is — no patchiness at all. The colors look even better in real life than in the pictures, and they work beautifully on my skin tone. I’ve gotten so many compliments since I started using it! Totally worth it. Will definitely be repurchasing and trying more shades!

Beautifully handled, handles beautifully
Prismacolor soft cores are the crème de la crème of colored pencils. Sure they’re not Caran D’ache, but who needs it? They’re an incredible price for the quality you get. They handle beautifully, with vibrant colors and ample opportunity for layering and blending. If you’ve been using cheaper brands and are considering upgrading, don’t hesitate! My one critique is that the leads can break fairly easily- this is somewhat unavoidable in a soft cored pencil I think, but just make sure you have a good quality pencil sharpener on hand.

My favorite set for art work
I’ve been using the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set, and it’s hands-down the best pencil set I’ve ever owned. The colors are incredibly rich and blend like butter, making layering and shading super smooth. I love the wide range—there’s literally a shade for everything I need, from portraits to landscapes.
The soft cores do require a gentle touch and a good sharpener, but once you get the hang of it, they’re amazing. It’s a bit of an investment, but totally worth it for the quality and creative freedom it gives me. I reach for this set every time I want my work to really shine

Colors like butter!
I’ve had these colored pencils for years as I go back and forth between coloring. Although recently I’ve been coloring with alcohol based markers, I always love the colored pencils as you get smoother finishes and they color like butter! I love these, although I do wish I bought the bigger pack as I wish there were more color options in this one!

Smooth, vibrant, and a joy to use
Worth it if you love coloring
Bought it out of curiosity and yep, it’s as smooth as people say. Colors go on soft, blend beautifully, and don’t need much pressure. Great for portraits or soft shading.
150 shades cover everything – warm, cool, skin tones, pastels, even neon. Super easy to find the right color.
Downside? The cores are soft, so they break if you’re rough or use a bad sharpener. Treat them gently.
Bottom line: If you’re serious about coloring or just want something that feels really nice to use, this set delivers. No regrets.

Not the colors advertised online
I love the prismacolor pencils but online this set was supposed to have the lavender pencil but on the package it’s different. That’s not cool.
