Works great
Congested. Burns when coughing. Gnarly clogged sinuses. Sore throat. Light headache. Got this stuff, and to say, in 2 days, I have been doing tons better. It helps break up the congestion, of which was the main reason I got it. The rest of what I was going through was secondary. I didn’t take full doses. Only 1/2 just to help kick start my body on fighting off whatever it is that’s going on.
Didn’t make me fall asleep.
Cool feeling as it went down. Instant nasal clearance.
Doesn’t keep nasals clear for long, but it did help loosen the congestion.
Helped with the sore throat too.

This particular Dayquil works well. I appreciate that it has an expectorant as well as the acetaminophen to help with keeping the fever down. It has a pleasant taste and is primarily for those who have problems with chest congestion vs. sinus congestion.

More than excellent, it worked better than I expected, in this case I used it for coronavirus symptoms. Before buying Vicks Day Quil, I bought the similar one from Walmart: equate, which is not bad but Vicks is much better.

Gross!!! But effective! NEVER take on an empty stomach. I personally like Thera Flu but this is good if you have to do things and can’t stay home to sleep it off.

Good product. Does what it’s designed to do. Feels like it works faster than non-liquid products. Taste was not enjoyable. But can say same for all liquid cold products.

Too Powerful
I had the typical cold: sore throat, runny nose, chest congestion, slight fever (which caused headache), and this medicine alleviated those symptoms for about five hours, but the side effects were awful, nearly unbearable! This medicine was so powerful, that it caused me to go to sleep (once the discomfort had been alleviated, I relaxed and fell asleep), but when I woke up about two hours later, I had that horrible dreaded ‘over-medicated sick feeling,’ and I couldn’t shake it for at least three hours! …and as if the sick woozy feeling wasn’t bad enough, my eyeballs were sore and felt like they were throbbing with discomfort. My eyeballs felt ready to burst from their sockets. I would’ve much rather been left with the cold symptoms than to have to endure the side effects of this medicine because that was the most discomfort that I had ever experienced as a result of taking over-the-counter medicine. I am average size person (if not slightly larger), and I took the exact dosage recommended by the manufacturer on the box instructions, and I used the measuring cup provided. If after reading this warning, you still opt to buy this medicine anyway, all I ask is that you be fair to everyone else, and return to this forum and leave your review, regardless of whether it worked for you, or if you had the same or similar experience as I had.
